Luke (they/them) is a classically trained singer, actor, pianist & songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. For the past two decades Luke has worked professionally with many regional theaters throughout the midwest, and is now living and working in New York City. In the spring of 2020 Luke received a Theater Circle Award for their performance as Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which they will reprise this fall. Luke’s additional Theater Circle Award nominations include Adam in The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told (Broadway World Award Winner), Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show, Angel in Rent, and several other outstanding performances. Luke also writes, produces, and headlines their own cabaret series titled Down With Love.
Some of their other favorite credits include the world premiere and revivals of All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, which received five Theater Circle Awards in 2014, Chris Alvaro (American regional premiere of Hands on a Hardbody), Duke (The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Tremont (Jerry Springer: The Opera), Hanschen (Spring Awakening), and Tony (West Side Story).
